This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage used by AI Assure. Essential storage supports sign-in and the service. Google Analytics is optional and loads only after you choose Accept analytics.
Analytics cookies
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics stores cookies and sends usage information to Google so we can understand how visitors use the website. If analytics has never been accepted, rejecting it prevents the analytics library loading. If you previously accepted, rejecting updates the consent setting but does not delete cookies already on the device; browser settings can remove those cookies. An already-loaded Google library may remain on the open page, subject to the updated consent setting, until the page is reloaded. You can change your choice using Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. The consent choice is stored in a cookie for six months and is shared across AI Assure subdomains.
Security checks
When you submit a sign-in, signup, payment setup, password reset, company URL reminder, enquiry, readiness, or written AI policy form, Google reCAPTCHA v3 checks the request for automated abuse. The reCAPTCHA library is first loaded when a protected action requests a security token and can remain loaded for the rest of that page session. Google may process device and interaction information for this security check. See Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Essential portal session cookie
When you sign in to a customer or administrator portal, the service uses a secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict cookie named __Host-aiassure-refresh. It supports your authenticated session with a server-issued expiry of up to 30 days; inactivity rules, revocation and sign-out can end access sooner. Session renewal rotates the token. It is removed on sign-out or expiry. It is essential to the sign-in service.
Signup session storage
The signup journey uses browser session storage to keep the company name, selected company URL, agent quantity, and short-lived billing continuation details while you move between signup steps. This information stays in that browser session and is not used for advertising.
AI readiness assessment storage
The AI readiness assessment saves an assessment reference, a private resume key, and your company name in your browser's local storage, so you can continue an unfinished assessment or view your latest result later. Starting a new assessment, or clearing site storage, removes it.
Written AI policy storage
The public policy builder uses the local-storage entry aiassure.policy for the policy reference and private access token. It contains no payment card or bank details. A public delivery email can provide a 30-day private access link; its token is removed from the page URL before analytics loads. The builder retains original saved browser access where available. Clearing browser storage removes that saved access, but does not delete the policy stored by AI Assure.
The client portal uses short-lived session storage when returning from a policy or invoice payment so it can check the payment status. Bank setup does not unlock the policy; it unlocks after verified payout.
Portal preferences
The customer and admin portals remember how many table rows you choose to see, in your browser's local storage. The table-size preference contains no account credentials and can be cleared at any time.
If you leave "Remember company URL on this device" ticked when signing in to the customer portal, your company URL is kept in that browser's local storage so the sign-in page can fill it in next time. Your email address and password are never stored. Untick the box when signing in, or clear site storage, to remove it. The portal also notes the time of your last activity and when your session was last renewed in local storage, so that open tabs agree on when to sign you out after a period of inactivity. When you sign out, a short note in local storage tells your other open portal tabs to sign out too. If you dismiss a prompt on the portal dashboard, such as the reminder to set who staff should ask for access, that choice is remembered in local storage so the prompt stays hidden.
Managing browser storage
You can clear cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Clearing the essential portal cookie signs you out. Clearing signup session storage may end an unfinished registration journey.
Changes
We will update this policy if the storage or Google services used by the website change.
